RENT Audition 2009

My freind and I auditioned. So we went from our college straight to the audition which was almost an hour away and we made it in record time.On the way there singing our audition songs, and Seasons of Love for good measure. The auditions hadn't even started yet ...they were running late. On the way in people in the parking lot were singing Seasons of Love....yes defently a RENT audition. When we came in we were goven directions that if we hadn't auditioned for this company ( Creative Minstries) before to stay to dance for them , and fill out the audition form, we got another form with the performance dates and times. My freind and I sat down and filled out the forms. I occasinally stopped to sip my water. Every female auditioned sounded like Freddie Walker and sang Out Tonight and Take Me Or Leave Me. The guys sang Your Eyes, Glory, Radame's Letter and Tick Tick Boom. I got up after my freind, since I was next the girl opening the door asked me if I was nervous. No.. I said honestly. I could tell she was suprised , after all this was the musical of our generation. Why not? She asked. I decided for honesty. I worked with the Orginal Roger , I said. Really? She asked. Yeah. I said. Oh okay that's a good reason.

annoyed doctors

Hey everyone. My doctors seem to think there is nothing wrong with me. Meaning my digestive distress, headaches, vomiting etc. was normal to do all day long. Yeah. My dad had suggested trying a piece of cheese with a lactaid pill. It didn't do anything which means it has to be the casien right? I mean one would think. Than again it took twenty one years for a doctor to tell me I have underdevolped lungs. Um how would I still be alive after twenty one years if I have underdevelpoed lungs? Is it me?

My past acting experences / about me

. Hi I'm Cassie Rivera I joined for three reason's. One I'm on Cybele Pascal's blog quiet often. Two my new music class has a blog here. So I thought it might be easier to just join. And three to update my friends on my acting and music experiences.
My first community acting job was in Annie, then I did Hello Dolly. After a couple of years I had taken theater arts at Suffolk Boces on Long Island. There I had done a 9/11 tribute, I Believe(a children's Christmas play), a variety show, and Addict( for you RENT fans, the non musical version of Rent in a way. Focuses on drug, alcohol and suicide.)Finally I was an extra in Goyband. Meaning I got a chance to work with Cybele Pascal's husband.
